DXL Shoe Dept.

The challenge here was to have the product accessible to the customer but not have it be so visible. Sliding barn doors were used on the wall creating a peek-a-boo effect. The center wall became a focal point with a large video monitor and illuminated cubbies below that featuring new shoes. A seating/lounge area was created that mixed in highlighted product. The floor displays became smaller 4-ways that freed up floor space and allowed customers to walk around the department. Rough-sawn barn wood was used through-out.
